Atticus announces plans to extend sulfentrazone brand family under Aquesta™ brand

CARY, NC (January 29, 2018) – Atticus is pleased to announce plans to diversify the Aquesta™ sulfentrazone pre-emergence herbicide brand family. The new Aquesta™ 4 F pre-emergence herbicide offers a formulation comparable to Authority®, Spartan®, and Zeus®. Aquesta 4 F delivers extended residual control of hard-to-manage broadleaf weeds, grassy weeds, and sedges before they take hold in settings such as corn, soybeans, dry beans, strawberries, tree nuts, and grapes.
The PPO-inhibitor mode of action in Aquesta is highly effective on glyphosate, imidazoline, and ALS-inhibitor resistant weeds, causing rapid necrosis and desiccation of emerging growth. Atticus plans to expand the formulations, label, and application settings for Aquesta generic-branded solutions throughout 2018.
