Schooner™ SC is a contact herbicide that protects aquatic sites from a wide variety of submersed, emergent and floating weeds. For use in lakes and ponds, Schooner SC works rapidly enough to control tough weeds like watermeal, duckweed and hydilla in both quiescent and slow-moving water. The active ingredient, flumioxazin, quickly degrades in the water column without building up in the bottom sediment. Schooner SC is an excellent choice for combating actively growing vegetation and is best used when applied to the foliage early in the morning before photosynthesis occurs.
