Atticus deepens commitment to relevant pesticide alternatives for greenhouse and nursery

CARY, NC (November 13, 2017) – Atticus announces the completion of its first phase of relevant greenhouse and nursery insecticide, fungicide, and herbicide alternative offerings.

Newly branded insecticides include acetamiprid-formulated Quasar™ 8.5 SL (comparable to TriStar® 8.5 SL), bifenazate-formulated Actuate™ SC (comparable to Floramite® SC), chlorfenapyr-formulated Piston™ (comparable to Pylon®), and Hexythiazox-formulated Hexcel™ 50 DF (comparable to Hexygon® 50 DF) to provide effective control and resistance management of tough greenhouse pests.

Atticus also announced the azoxystrobin-formulated fungicide Artavia™ 2 SC (comparable to Heritage®) is a broad-spectrum, long-lasting strobilurin with both preventive and curative activity against ornamental disease. This brand joins thiophanate-methyl based Talaris™ 4.5 F (comparable to 3336®) within the Atticus lineup of relevant professional fungicide alternatives.

The flumioxazin-formulated Semera® 51.0% WDG (comparable to SureGuard®) to provide pre-emergence and early postemergence control of selected grass and broadleaf weeds in and around ornamental woody shrubs, deciduous trees, and conifers grown outdoors in or out of containers.
