Airstream™ is a selective herbicide that treats floating, emergent, and submersed weeds such as hydrilla, watermilfoil, duckweed, and pondweed, while remaining safe on desirable plants, including spatterdock, maidencane, and cattails. Airstream is approved for lakes, ponds, non-irrigation canals, and other water bodies with minimal water outflow to combat persistent weeds year after year.
An ALS inhibitor, Airstream contains the active ingredient bispyribac-sodium which inhibits plant growth. Airstream provides long-lasting residual activity and is a highly effective resistance management tool. You’ll notice gradual control often within two weeks, with peak hydrilla control in two to four months. For best results, apply in the spring when plants are actively growing. Utilize this selective chemistry to maintain clear, beautiful waters for all to enjoy with Airstream.
