Ceridian™ 2 EC contains clethodim, an active ingredient designed for selective postemergence control of grassy weeds across a diverse range of crop and non-crop sites, including rights-of-ways, highways, railroads, transformer stations, airports, and more. When applied, Ceridian 2 EC is absorbed through the leaves of the targeted weeds and translocated to the points of growth. Once there, it disrupts the formation of cell membranes, effectively halting any growth.
This herbicide effectively controls both annual and perennial grassy weeds such as foxtail, barnyardgrass, and crabgrass, while having no impact on select desirable broadleaf plants.
