Atticus expands turf portfolio with addition of Artavia™, Empero™ and Detour™

CARY, NC (December 4, 2017) – Atticus announces the addition of three new branded-generic product alternatives to benefit turf customers, including Artavia™, Empero™ and Detour™.
Artavia™ 2 SC (comparable to Heritage®), is an azoxystrobin-formulated broad-spectrum, long-lasting strobilurin fungicide with both preventative and curative activity against tough weeds in a variety of turf settings.
Empero™ (comparable to SedgeHammer®) is a halosulfuron-methyl selective herbicide aimed at controlling nutsedge and other stubborn weeds in turfgrasses without the damaging effects that other herbicides leave behind. This product joins Semera® 51.0% WDG (comparable to SureGuard® and Clipper™) a flumioxazin-formulated herbicide to control selected grass and broadleaf weeds around trees and ornamentals and in bare non-crop areas. Plus, it’s labeled to control algae, duckweed, and other weeds in aquatic settings.
Detour™ 4 SC (comparable to Secure®) is a fluazinam-based fungicide that attacks turf diseases in fairways, tees and greens, providing excellent control of resistant dollar spot. This product joins thiophanate-methyl based Talaris™ 4.5 F (comparable to 3336®) within the Atticus lineup of relevant turf fungicide alternatives.
